A goshawk and a party!

First of all, I'll tell you about the party going on at Funky Playground Designs
I know of one game that will be going on over there soon, and it will be really really fun!

One of the birthday offers is the amazing "Life is Good" Collab by the Funky Playground Designers, I got to play with it in advance, and decided it was the perfect kit to scrap our visitor from last week! A goshawk, as beautiful as he may be, we did lose a chicken, and a pane of glass, when he took the short cut through the window instead of out of the open door, but that's another layout (to be coming soon!)Stop by FPD and enjoy the fun in November

Still time to do some lifting

The Scraplift Challenge at FPD runs until Wednesday, so you still have time to come and join in the fun, just like my "ex"-online friend Dinphy! Hihi, I say ex, cause last week she visited us with her family and now we are "real life" friends!

And look at the layout she did about us meeting (combined with the Scraplift Challenge)

Thanks Dinphy!

CU all at FPD to play along!

Time for a re-release!

Way back in 2008, I took part in a Design Contest! For a little while I actually sold in a store, but soon decided that I preferred scrapping to designing and packed away my kits for good....or did I!

With Halloween right around the corner and people visiting my blog looking for my old Halloween Freebie, I thought it was time to re-release it!
Download Part 1 here
Download Part 2 here

And whilst you are here, why not pop on over to Gotta Pixel for this amazing Freebie by Sweet Digi Scraps

You download a piece each day for the following week, and whilst you are there, browse around Sweet Digi Scraps store, everything is reduced by 30% to celebrate her week in the Spotlight at GottaPixel.

Now I have to find my old posts with the freebie and redirect people to this post....

FPD Collab "Toil and Trouble"

I am so lucky to be one of the Playground Peeps at FunkyPlayground Designs, cause I get to play with some of their things in advance, and this past week, it was this fun Halloween Collab (image linked to store)We are having our first Halloween Party for the kids from Kindergarden on October 30th, so I don't yet have pictures of kids dressed up yet, but I still found a great use for the Collab. I scrapped about Florian (my husband) and I reading Harry Potter, some of the elements in the kit were just perfect for that!Well, the collab is available for 50% off in October, which means you can get this great kit for only $3.50! And there are also a set of Quickpages and a set of Printables available!

CU soon

Creative Sweeties Favorite Kit Blog Train

That's quite a mouthful isn't it! But soooo worth it! The Creative Sweeties were able to play to their heart was content with Liz's goodies these past two weeks and we have all come up with very different gifts for you all!

Mine is a hybrid, a very easy one for you all, all you need to do is print and then if you want laminate! I have made you a timetable, now that the kids are all back at school, we or they need to keep track of which books they need or which homework needs to be ready.
This is my timetable on our fridge in the kitchen. And every morning my 6-year old asks me to read what subjects he has on that day!

I laminated the sheet, and wrote on it with a wipeable pen, so that if the timetable changes during the term, I can change mine too!

But before you get to get your freebie, let me show you Liz's new releases today:I played with Mister Happy Go Lucky at last weeks Speed Scrap and this is my layout!

OK, now that you have patiently looked at my fridge, the new kits and my layout, here is your freebie (image linked to 4 shared)

Have fun with it, oh and before you go searching for my other freebies, my 4shared account was deactivated and they have all disappeared, sorry!

Oh and don't forget a little THANK YOU can go a LONG way!

And now please continue on your train ride:

Three R's

Just in time for Robert starting school (can you believe my first born is starting school, I can't) Liz has released a really cute school kit. Perfect for both boys and girls, and even for pics of me starting school - if there were any. It wasn't a big thing, when I started school in the UK, way back when, but wow is it a big thing in Germany. I'm still not sure, I am getting it all right here, but my friends have promised to spoil Robert if I get it wrong at all!

Anyhow here is the kit (and best of all it is in the two dollar category at GP right now! Image linked to store)
Danyale has made some matching wordart and border clusters to go with it. And Liz made some templates, one of which I used for this layout (look at me journalling - GO ME!!!)CU a bit sooner than last time - promise!
