I tried Paper Scrapping!

And what did I learn...I am a Digi Girl through and through!
Having said that I did enjoy the course it was great fun and I met a great paper scrapper - Andrea, I just missed my laptop and the things that I am already able to do digi-style that I am a long way from in paper!
But I still wanted to show off the book I made. Andrea bought so many supplies with her we were spoilt for choice, and if I had girls I am pretty sure I would have had a lot more embellishments on my pages, but for my boys I stuck with paper really. So here are my pages, I chose some pictures of our day out to Thomasland (Drayton Manor Park, UK) last year.
The cover of the librello
Pages 2 and 3
Pages 4 and 5
Back page
Pages 7 and 8
I never finished during the course, but I really wanted at least one finished paper scrapping project, so whilst the boys and Florian were on the Wii yesterday I set up in the kitchen. Unfortunately my supplies are VERY limited, so I even had to be creative with the gluing, as I have no acid free glue, at least it doesn't say so on the packet. So I used double sided photo sticking things for all of the gluing. And it worked as far as I am concerned.

I really enjoyed Andrea's course and I know she also does jewellry classes using Swarovski beads, so I'll be on the lookout in the course calendar for next term to take part in that!

Andrea had lots of her scrapbooks with her for us to look at and they were AMAZING, if you want to see her work, you really should go and check out her blog "Mini und Maxi", it's in German, but her cards and pages are amazing!

I'll be back soon, with some digi layouts. Funky Playground Designs is re-opening under new ownership with some awesome designers on April 1st! And I'll be showing off some of their things! CU then!

Danke!
Andrea

I think they turned out great!

I never got to paper scrapping. Just to start and buy all I would need to have a choice -as I'm used to with digital- would get quite expensive. Besides, I'm always resizing my photo's to fit. Don't think that would be easy with paper scrapping. :)
BUT, I love the finished look of your librello, you can actually touch it, and that would be very nice!
