Cute things kids say...

or mine at least!
As I said yesterday we stayed the night with my parents. The last time we did this was probably last Christmas. And Robert proved that to us this morning.
He came into the lounge after getting dressed, turned to me and Pop and said in a very disappointed voice "Where's all the presents from Father Christmas?!" I replied "But Robert it's not Xmas yet" He said "Then why did we stay here?!" My Dad and I tried so hard not to crease up, but it was difficult!

The clocks went back this weekend, I vaguely remember the days, when this meant an extra hour in bed, why don't the kids get it! They were up at the usual time but the clocks this morning said 6am!!!! Oh well, they were later to bed today, so hopefully it will sort itself out tomorrow.
We had a lovely afternoon celebrating our friends birthday, the kids found a sandpit there and kept themselves out of mischief and we were able to catch up on everyone's news! I had the camera with me, but I was so busy chatting that I didn't get any photos. Oh well, maybe next time.

After the party it was back to my parents for tea. Richard was a bit overtired so when we realised that he had unpacked his juice at the party after I had packed it away to take home, and it was still at the party, he had a major breakdown. But it wasn't too long before he turned and told us he had finished - amazing how they can go from 100 to zero in seconds!

We're back home now, we have cleared away Sunny's snack - bird of some sort, at least there were feathers everywhere, the boys are tucked up in bed, and we are watching Mr & Mrs Smith
