A LOOOOOONNNNNGGGG Day

without TV! Yep, the kids blew it last night! They finally settled at around 8.45pm! That is nearly 2 hours (!) after I put them to bed. Even the threat of no TV did not make them stop fooling around, as I had hoped it would, and the way they are going now, it looks like there will be no TV tomorrow too! It wasn't quite as difficult as I had thought it would be, but it did make my day a lot longer.
I can hear them in there again now, and they are getting noisier and noisier. I have already got to the threat of no TV after cancelling a surprise I had planned for the morning, I thought that as threats got me nowhere yesterday I would try the treat approach. It wasn't going to be anything that special, just a Brezel from the bakers after the trip to the doctors, but ... they just blew that one, so now I am back on the no TV threat.
I wonder what would happen if I just let them get on with it? would they fall asleep quicker? Am I winding them up by going in and shouting at them? I am nearly at my wits end!

This also reminded me, that in the past week or two I got two other awards, one from Laura and one from Melothria, both I know from Digital Arts Cafe and who in turn have great blogs!


I am going to pass on passing it along this time though, I had trouble coming up with 5 people to award last time so this time I will just say thank you very, very much. I love the thought, that you are out there, reading what I get up to! And I enjoy having you here! Thanks so much!

I did another layout last night, but it is downstairs on the computer, so I will add it here as soon as the boys quieten down! (just to let you know, they had their last chance, and now it is another day of no tv!! BOTHER!) by the way, I tried ignoring them, but Richard ended up screaming and calling me - Robert had poked his head and pinched his dummy! AGHH!!!!

OK, I'm off to work on the wedding photo book for my cousin and maybe get a little bit of scrapping done.
