I had forgotten how long a day can be, when I have both kids home all day on my own! But as I told my boys tonight, "only two more sleeps" and Daddy is home!
This morning was the first time in 2 months that I had both of them with me when I went shopping. gosh what a challenge. I went to the shop that has minature trolleys for kids, and then off we went. I blackmailed them, well I promised them an Easter Egg at the end if they behaved. It started off great, and then Robert needed a wee!!!! So back to the start, and trying to convince Richard that we had to go out of the shop again, WITHOUT his trolley was to say the least - NOISY! And once we were back in I think they must have forgotten about the egg! But again they could have been a lot worse. I did at least spot the extras going in the trolley when they went in and not at the till! (silly things like lactose free cheese - yuck! or buttermilk - don't think much of that either!)
Then there was this afternoon to get by, I just wish the weather would cheer up, we had snowflakes all morning and sleet all afternoon and now it is raining! We did the usual jigsaws, a rough and tumble, which resulted in carpet burn on Robert's cheek, ouch, that is going to hurt for a while! And we read LOTS of stories. They found my hiding place for the new books and got them all out, and we read them all! Oh well, we are going to England in June I will stock up again then.
I got one layout done this evening. This one is for the March Colour Challenge at DSO. I found a great picture of Mia from Carnival that went really well with the colour swatch.
Bye 4 now
