It's hard to carry on this post after the tragic news that reached us this afternoon. Especially as I have had a happy day today. But that is Life.
I picked my Mum up this morning, she has come to stay until Saturday, when Dad will come and pick her up, and take us all out for a meal. Robert asked for that the other day on the telephone, totally out of the blue. And who can resist him (sometimes!).
Mum got the best welcome ever, I should think, when we picked the kids up at Kindergarden. Richard was SO excited to see her, and couldn't stop saying "Nanna". It was so cute! Robert was excited too, but Richard beat him!
Nanna of course had to help with the jigsaws this afternoon, no one gets around that job at the minute! We then went out for a walk, but it was really windy and quite cold, so it was just a quick one, but it blew the cobwebs away. The weather didn't seem to bother the boys much, they were quite happy going at their own slow pace. But we sped them up, when it started to rain!
They had a bath this evening, so they are all squeaky clean and tucked up in bed now.
This is our cat Ticki "playing " with his catch of the night! I just had to grab a camera, before saving the poor mouse! Who is now back outside, waiting for Sunny (our other cat) to catch him again!!

Wow, I'm doing bad. I was so tired last night I forgot to come and leave you some love here last night. Well, at least I am here now. I hope you are having a grand time with your Mum...especially with all the bad news. And I LOVE the LO of the Kitty and the mouse. Like I said over at BTST, I just don't like them in my house. Hope all is well...just heard Alex stirring...sounds like he has a croup cough again....will this ever end?? Take care and Blessings to you.
