A busy but satisfying day!

After being stuck indoors with both kids for most of last week, today was GREAT! For a start both of them are back at Kindergarden and life can return to normal! I got a lot accomplished this morning (housewifey sorts of things, washing, dishwashing, feeding all the animals and washing the floors!) I even got a chance for a break, in which I did a layout! Show you it later this evening.

Well, here it is! Mum bought me a present at the weekend, 2 kits from Weeds & Wildflowers! Absolutely gorgeous, this is my first layout with both kits. It's my Nanna (my Dad's Mum), she always dreamt of having her own little cottage with lots of flowers. Well here it is!
The pictures are 69 (!) years old. Credits:

The kids enjoyed dinner and had a good nap/break after it, so I got another 2 layouts done! These ones are for Michelle's CT using her Aargh! Kit.

Completely different to the last layout, but fun! The first is Robert, whilst on holiday in England last year! Unbeknown to me, he had stripped off and gone in the sea! it was freezing, but he wasn't complaining, and someone got a picture!

This is my niece Zoe I think they were on holiday here, when she had her face painted, perfect for this pirate themed kit!

And on this one, I practiced my extraction skills again! I am really pleased with the results. Thanks Mum for remembering the picture! I think it looks great now!

After Richard's nap, we went outside to play in the garden. It was really weird out there, it felt and looked like spring, but there was this huge black clowd lurking, it is still out there in the same position, still no rain. but that was fine by us! The boys did their usual, round and round the front garden on anything with wheels, then some football, and by then the neighbours started joining us, and I got a good ole natter in too!

Then it was back in for tea and bed! which is where they are now, still both awake (could be the time changing, but they are just restless, should be quiet in a minute!)

I did another layout! This one is of my Mum's Mum, my Nanny. She is so beautiful. I have another picture of her I would love to scrap, but I don't have a scanner, so it will have to wait until I get to Mum and Dad's.
