What a start to the day! I was so well organised this morning, the boys were sort of behaving themselves, and I had everything planned. And then I got in the car.....
The boys unfortunately can now reach the lights above the doors in the back of the car. And had unbeknown to me, been playing with them yesterday. Resulting in them being on ALL night. So when we went to drive to Kindergarden this morning, the car was DEAD! It didn't make a peep! AGH!
Luckily, Kindergarden is within walking distance, so I marched the kids (Richard in his buggy, first time he has been in that in months) to Kindergarden, and I mean marched. I was so cross, that poor Robert could hardly keep up, but I wanted him to feel, what he had done wrong! I think he understood how cross I was, as I left Kindergarden he said "don't be cross Mummy, Daddy will mend the car, when he comes home, Daddy is good at mending things!" - That may be so, but he doesn't come home til Friday!!!
All I can say is - we have the BEST neighbour in the whole wide world! I stopped there on my way home, and asked if he could help. He not only helped, he did it all! He got the battery out of the car, not that easy as it was rusted in there. Broke a screw in the process, so he mended that too. Charged the battery and put it back in for me!
I had to postpone shopping and a trip to the mini-zoo, but at least he got it going again for me! Now I will check the car once it gets dark, and make sure the lights inside really are off!
Instead of the zoo, my friend I was going to go there with, came round here, and we spent the afternoon in the garden with the kids. The boys had great fun, digging, playing football, running, riding anything with wheels, sliding and just being boys! It was a pleasure to watch! Oh, they all watched as Willi (our neighbour) put the battery back in, typical boys, absolutely fascinated by the engine of a car!
Silvia has been working on a new kit in memory of her Mum, and I have made some layouts with it for her, I am not sure if I am allowed to post them before the release of the kit, but I will find out, and then update the blog if I am.
Bye 4 now

Oh Kerri, what a horrible way to start the day. I know b/c I've been there, only I was on my way to work in the morning. Luckily for me, my son was home to get it going quickly.
Glad you had fun in your yard playing, etc. I wish our weather was that nice we could be outside having fun. We still had snow today.
Take care!
