Layout of the Week!!!

Wow, how about that! I got a $12.00 gift voucher for being Layout of the Week at Scrapkitten.com. If you call up the homepage, one of the first things you see, is my layout! It is the one I made of our very cold and snowy Easter Barbecue!
I am really excited about it! What a lovely surprise this morning.

And no bad news today. The car started as if it had never had a problem this morning. The kids were good really - considering it rained all afternoon and we couldn't go out. We had great fun in the lounge singing "Ring-o-roses" and "Dingle-Dangle Scarecrow"! Robert sung them once for us on his own! So cute!
Then I had the computer on and my wedding pics were on. Richard brought tears to my eyes when he said "Mummy, was a princess?" "Mummy, Princess!" Well I thought and felt like a princess then, so YES MUMMY was a princess.
Speaking of weddings - here is a layout I made for Florian today. It's us on our wedding day (registry office) 3 years ago today! I still love my hat, perhaps I will wear it again this summer for my cousins wedding!

After lunch, I "bumped" into Leigh online and we had great fun chatting, not typing really chatting! It was such fun, Richard was in bed, Robert was watching TV, so we got to have a good half an hour natter, about anything and everything! We'll definitely be doing that again! Leigh's kids were still in bed. Mind boggling the time difference at times though!

Oh and one other exciting thing. I am on yet another CT. For DigitalArts Cafe, which is the store that Silvia (Phillsboo) sells at. I have to make one layout a week and post in three different places. I am having so much fun making layouts at the moment, I don't see a problem there. Infact I think you will be seeing my first layout for them, later on tonight. Watch this space!

I decided to enter the Challenges at Digital Arts Cafe tonight - one of them I am hosting, so it doesn't actually count, but it was fun anyway. Even more so, as I have chosen Coffee and Tea related quotes (to go with the "Café" theme there), and I don't even drink either!!! But I still love this quote, and can sort of relate to it, as I really need breakfast to function properly, but as a mother you are on duty 24/7!

And this layout is for the Font Challenge, this month there is a choice of two handwriting fonts, I chose this one, which is called Catholic Schoolgirls!! I have scrapped some more of our fun on the Wii on Easter Sunday!

Congrats on being LO of the week!
It's a beautiful one. I think it's a wonderful thing that you still did a BBQ, despite the snow. Some special easter pics too. Because how often will it happen?
