Do you have days like that, where when you sit down in the evening and you have done so much, but completely different things, that it feels like you have had two days in one!?! Happens here quite a bit!
This morning, Mum and Dad brought Zoe and Mia up to see us. We hadn't told the boys so they were really surprised when they came. Robert was actually outside with Florian when they arrived, trying to make a snowball out of nothing - there wasn't even enough really to make a snowmarble!
Richard is my indoor boy, and today we let him be, he so did not want to go out, so him and I stayed in and tidied up the bedroom, so that when they were all there, they could start anew in the untidying process!
We hadn't seen the girls in a month so the they all had a great time. They actually played really nicely together upstairs. Well, sort of, at one point there was a lot of screaming and when Florian went upstairs, Robert had somehow managed to break the curtain tower over his slide off of his bed! Oops!
It was actually touch and go, whether Mum and Dad came, because of the snow, but they braved it, and really we are still waiting for all of the snow they promised! BUT at about 3pm it started snowing, so Dad rounded everyone up - he did let the kids finish watching Madagascar - and they went home.
and this is when day 2 of our day begins. As it was still early, we went to the village advent bazaar for fresh waffles and to catch up on village gossip! The waffles were delicious, Robert's best friend was there so they ran wild together. there was a raffle and we actually got something decent today - we got a sports bag! Oh and they was a story for the kids, where they actually got a present for sitting still and listening. A little guardian angel.
And now the boys are in bed, I think Richard was asleep before I even turned the light off, he was so tired. And we have the log fire on, nice and cosy!
Bye 4 now

Do I ever know these kind of days!
I can get real confused about what day it is then too! lol.
Ah, we had some snow too. It even stuck. wel, to the ground on the playground it did. Yay for the rubber floor-tiles! Not enough to take the sled out, but we did made a 50 cm snowman! :)
But it's all gone now.
The snowman still stands, he just shrunk a bit. lol!
