the boys had different ideas about their afternoon and the only thing they could agree on was dominos (oh and TV but they are not allowed it on ALL afternoon!)
I did however after having played enough dominos suggest that they find a different game, and we had some fun playing a game with monkeys. Not sure what it is called in the rest of the world, but this is what it looks like.
the boys thought it was great! And it made a big change to dominos! You roll the dice and which ever colour it is you pull out the appropriate stick. The object of the game is not to get too many monkeys - the boys however loved collecting the monkeys! never mind!Well, they are now tucked up in bed, and I am hoping for a better night than last night! Last night Richard remembered at about 1am that he didn't really like water and that he wanted juice. He didn't get any, but it took me just over an hour to convince him to go back to sleep.
I can't show you what I scrapped last night and finished off this morning, as I have been making Xmas cards and I want people to be surprised when they get them in the post!
Bye 4 now

Hi Kerri,
Sounds like a great game, weather you collect or not-collect the monkeys!
Come on over, I've got a little award for you on my blog! :)
The game looks a lot like "Kerplunk"..except more fun with monkeys!!
I bet the Xmas cards are great, I know what you mean about wanting them to be a surprise.
I think I'll take your advice and recruit my husband to help with the duvet..why didn't I think of that before!!!He's 6'6 and has long arms..he should do well with the great duvet struggle!!Lol!!
