More wet weather

So Robert's plans were put on hold, he told me this morning when he got up, that he wanted to go to the zoo this afternoon. Which is actually a good idea, and at the time it wasn't really raining, damp, yes, but wet no. But by the time I went to pick them up at Kindergarden the bad weather had set in. So no Zoo today.
But I did let them have Madagascar on AGAIN! Its so cute when they join in singing "I like to move it, move it - I like to move it, move it - Move it!!"
Instead I let them make things with puffed corn I think it is - its stuff you buy, then you slightly wet a piece and then it will stick to another piece or paper. Hold on, I'll find a picture of the stuff. Not our actual packet but you can see what it looks like, 100% environment friendly, and not too messy! Well, until your kids get a plastic knife on it and start cutting it up really small!
they had a great time. They made snakes, steps, a bridge and decorated the flower and tree that I made! You can also paint with them, you then need a bit more water and then the colour will ocme out on to paper. So you can imagine their fingers when they had finished, just a little bit dirty.
today was bath day though so it is all off now. Had to give them a bath, as Richard decided NOT to repeat yesterday's success - much to my dismay. I did let him know that I was cross, but I am not sure whether that is really the right approach - but I was cross, as he sent me away 2 minutes beforehand saying no he didn't need a pooh! GRRRR! oh well, I will ignore that tomorrow, what does Mum always say - "you live and learn" - yep I did!

My Xmas card prints came today and I think they are great - I am going to send myself 4 so I can hang them all up!!!
OK, I'm still behind at BTST, I just can't keep up anymore, but I do try, so I am off there again
Bye 4 now
