Finished and an award

Yep, I finished my kit for the DigitalArts Cafe Blog party! At lunchtime I put the preview together, and I am really looking forward to sharing it on December 1st!
But what else is new here. Nothing much really, shopping this morning. Washing, washing up, feed the animals - I'm a bit worried about Treacle (our rabbit) since he has been back in with the chickens (it's ok it's a seperate part of the hen house) he is hardly eating or drinking - not sure what that is all about, I'll have to keep my eye on him. I did buy him different food today in case that was the problem, we'll see.

Sunny didn't bring anymore presents home - I forgot to mention that on Sunday he brought us a Magpie in! It was still alive and escaped in the utility room, after Florian had chased Sunny and his catch out of the kitchen! We then set if free from there. Mum, reckoned that next he will be bringing a chicken in - as long as it isn't one of ours! ;)

And now on to that award, I mentioned above.
Look what I got:
Thank you so much, Dinphy - I really appreciate this, even if it took me a while to remember to post it, whilst blogging!!

Now I have to list 7 things I love and pass it on to 7 other people, OK, here it goes

1) goes without saying - my family
2) my pets (Sunny our bird-catching cat, Treacle the rabbit, and even our chickens (7 of them))
3) Digital Scrapbooking - what a great hobby to find, and it was this time last year that I found it, whilst trying to keep my mind off of my Mum being in hospital!
4) Taking photos - I just love doing that some people think the camera is attached to the end of my arm rather than a real hand!
5) Chocolate - yep I love that too, but only Milk chocolate with nothing, and my favourite is Ritter Sport!
6) Reading - love reading to the kids, although some days it would be nice if it wasn't the same story every time! But I love reading for me too, a good thriller is my cup of tea!
7) Music - love most of it (hope I still can say that when my boys have their own taste!) and I have to sing along to it all, Richard sometimes stops me though saying "Don't sing, Mummy!" i think he might be trying to tell me something there - as in don't audition for Simon Cowell!!! So true!

OK, now to pass it on to seven people:

Leigh, for being my friend and posting some great layouts on her blog, you should all check them out and leave her some love

Jan, cause I love popping over and seeing all her layouts that she doesn't post at BTST ;) and reading about her life - sorry about the snow Jan!

Ikeagoddess, because she is so great with the freebie search, wasn't afraid to voice her opinion on the Presidential election, and because she made my day, when she posted my St. Martin's freebie in her list!

Heather, she has the most gorgeous layouts and has just started a little bit of designing, and it is good!

Katherine, a designer at BTST and a fellow entrant in the Sunshine Studio Design Contest, which finishes this week, she did some beautiful kits for it, and now I have my fingers crossed for her.

Dinphy, because she deserves to get this award twice! She is another great friend I have made in the digital world, and she makes great freebies for us all!

And I am going to break the rules and give it to someone without a blog, who I know would have a great one, if she did pluck up the courage! Benita! She makes my kits shine and she does it before I have even realised someone has downloaded it! I am linking you all up to her gallery at BTST so if you want to leave her some love on her great layouts, she would appreciate it, as we all do, I'm sure.

I could continue the list, Liz deserves it, too, can I pass it to her too, I think so. So this is for Liz (Sweet Digi Scraps) to, who is my favourite designer and a friend, and who loves to pass out her kits bit by bit for free!

There you go, quite a long post tonight.
Off to be creative - maybe with Dinphy's kit!

I'm back! And I have been playing with Dinphy's DIY flowers, they are so much fun, I only have two on here, but I made many more getting these two just right for our princess!
this is for the Colour Challenge at DSO, and again Kim must have had my photos on her harddrive the colours were a perfect match for the princess dress (I am sure it is one of the Disney princesses, but having boys, I am not sure which one!)

Kerri, you're so right t give one to Benita! Now only to get her a blog to put it on, lol...

Thanks for playing with my kit. Maybe I SHOULD have named it DIY flowers in stead of GirlFlower... Oh well... I knew it wasn't a perfect name, just had to use something, and then I didn't want to rename everything. lol.

Love what you did with the bling on the WordArt, and how you made your flowers! Also love how you rotated the hearts! Thanks for making my day again!

And yes, I also think it's a Disney Princess, I'm pretty sure it's Sleeping Beauty.
Hehe, Tom is already learning that, as Lisa tells him he has to play the prince to rescue and kiss the princess. ;)
